The bed was comfortable. The bed linen smelt fresh. I was surprised that, when I arrived, there was a note with my name on it on the door saying that the owner was out looking for a cat, that the door was open and that my key was on the counter! That says a lot about the location in Yelverton.

Breakfast was very well cooked, and they had gluten and dairy options of cereals, if you could eat oats and also Vitalite.
Nice chairs in the bar area and a huge selection of Gin. Very nice staff, although one of your waitresses did not know the difference between a piece of hake and plaice, when delivering our lunch.!!

Situated on the edge of Dartmoor the Manor offers easy access for walkers or tourists alike. The location was ideal for what we wanted to do. It's a beautiful old house and the large beautifully kept grounds offer plenty of room to stroll around or just sit in the sun and relax. The Breakfasts are exceptional and the Hosts are very, very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. There are also plenty of local hostelries within easy distance for getting an evening meal. Whats not to like?

Loved this beautiful old hotel in this very pretty quaint village. We had an upgraded room which included a carpark, for which we were very grateful. Our room size was very generous and the cooked to order breakfast was first rate. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

The visit was very good, the room was a bit cramped but that was reflected in the price. Room cleaned, breakfast fine,
host friendly.

What a lovely place. Great location, handy secure parking, easy to find, great room, large towels, useful kitchenette in the room, clean and tidy, all the facilities needed, absolutely superb hot tub, and very friendly & helpful hosts. This is the perfect place to stay if walking or cycling across the moor, visiting Princetown or just exploring the area. Highly recommended.
The hosts are extremely friendly, the room was nice and quiet, we could leave our bikes safely in a shed, the breakfast was wonderful, the best we've had in England!
Friendly hosts and lovely rooms in a quiet little town in Dartmoor. Very convenient location with various Dartmoor sights being only about 10-15 mins drive away. The hot tub was a nice little bonus!
Great location, lovely hosts, room was huge and well equipped and really appreciated the little touches like the availability of chargers etc. The hot tub was fab too, thank you.
Nice clean and quiet room. Well equipped with all you need to do breakfast and drinks. Even a coffee machine with pods. Our host Terry was very friendly and helpful pointing out interesting areas to visit nearby. Nikki was helpful and offered the room before checking in time, we just popped in to say we had parked up and were off for lunch. Overall a lovely stay.
Great location with stone settlements and tors within walking distance. Felt very safe and secure. Super quiet and peaceful stay. Breakfast was amazing both times!
Perfect little find . Host Richard and Caroline were extremely welcoming, place was spotlessly clean, nice fluffy towels, tea and coffee facilities in the room. Eco shower and body wash.
Breakfast was superb all locally sourced. Great location, with parking
