Location was spot on to access the local amenities and road links.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Andrew and Linda were great hosts. Breakfast was fantastic. Tea and delicious home made scones on arrival. Our room was huge and very clean. Fantastic views from every window. Beautiful home and guest house. Would definitely recommend.
Great location, nice and quiet, fully equipped kitchen, clean, towels also inc, host attentive, powerful shower. Make sure you bring everything, even down to condiments and washing up liquid, will be coming back, thank you
Inglenook Guest House is a special place. Great location and accommodations. Tim and Zena are kind, warm, and fun hosts. We had a lovely time conversing with them throughout our stay, and Tim was happy to share local recommendations with us that made our trip extra special.
The breakfast was an experience in itself - so many choices, generous portions, and so delicious. Between Zena’s porridge and Tim’s scrambled eggs, we were spoiled. We fell in love with the Yorkshire Dales and we know we will be back. When we do, we will stay here!
I stayed here to do the Three Peak Challenge and booked an extra few nights after I arrived. The location was peaceful and quiet, and breakfast was lovely and filling. Richard was a great host and made sure my fridge was stocked with orange juice, milk and yoghurt. I would recommend staying here, especially if you like the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere while having amenities only a 10 min drive away :-)
Great location. Private parking. Great host, Beer was good, live sport on the tv and pool table in the bar area.
Room was perfect for the money. Like the mini fridge with water and bottle milk in the room.
Beautiful cottage, very clean, warm with everything you would need. Great hosts. Log burner was excellent. Great location. We would recommend and hope to be back soon.
Lovely stay in a well-located, well appointed, brand new room. wonderful breakfast delivered by a great host who was full of advice for our walking and apres activities, i.e. pubs and restaurants. property is virtually at the foot of one of the Yorkshire three peaks, perfect for anyone hiking. very quiet and peaceful area.
