The location was perfect for a wedding we were attending locally. I had asked for a quiet room and the Inn willingly obliged with an upgrade to a quieter room. The room was very large and we could see it had recently been decorated with nice touches. The en-suite had a corner bath. It was very clean. We were very happy with everything. The room was on the 2nd floor but was no issue for us. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very nice.
Situated within 40 km of Askham Hall and 30 km of Thirlwall Castle in Carlisle, Warwick Lodge provides accommodation with seating area.

The host was very welcoming and friendly. The room was really comfortable, with a couple of chairs to sit and have a cup of tea and chat and a super-comfy bed. Really nice cooked breakfast.

Absolutely perfect Carolyn was a perfect host so friendly and very informative , lovely breakfast in the morning and in a great location to explore Gretna would definitely recommend Prince Charlie’s cottage as a place to stay .
The hotel and room were beautiful and in a great location. My room was comfortable, quiet and had everything I needed. All the staff I met were very welcoming and the delicious cookies in reception were a bonus.

stayed here for one night whilst in Gretna for my car clubs Christmas dinner meet and Gateway shopping trip,within easy reach of the Gateway and although it's on a small road,it was very quiet and peaceful,and ample offroad parking for car,great location,nice welcoming host,i would have no hesitation in returning here,i recommend👍
