Mark, the Owner, was lovely, very helpful and friendly. The Captain's Suite with Balcony was sensational ! Beautifully warm and very very stylish with a huge bed and a huge bathroom as well. Just amazing and so so clean. The evening meal was delicious. Breakfast at 9am was delivered in a large hamper and was just excellent and covered everything we would need. Can't wait to return !

Lovely comfortable room with a delightful view. Great choice of breakfast items - delicious fresh fruit, creamy yoghurt, eggs cooked to perfection. Karen and Pete are delightful hosts, very friendly and helpful. Update 27/07/24: I had a self-inflicted problem related to our stay which, at great inconvenience to herself, Karen promptly and efficiently resolved. She went above and beyond, and I am extremely grateful to her. Five-star-plus service!

Fantastic location for the castle and other walks around Dunster. Very clean and cosy with wonderful welcoming hosts. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen, although small, was very well equipped. Very quiet too. The hosts restaurant, Hathaway's, comes highly recommended too!

The house was beautiful. The garden in front of the apartment and in the backyard was dreamy. The stay was cute, comfy, and we'll equipped. The hosts were gracious enough to stock up fresh fruits, milk and local oats from the local water mill!! This is Dunster's best kept secret!

Second time staying at The Dunster Castle Hotel - note parking at the rear of the property. Great location in Dunster for the castle, just down the hill. Lovely owners who are attentive hosts. Hotel is boutique style and very nicely maintained. Lovely touches in the room - sherry with glasses, chocolates and biscuits with the tea/coffee. Such high attention to detail which is why we returned.
