Hubert House, hotel in Dover

This family-run guest house has won multiple awards and is the only accommodation provider in Dover with 4 stars and the much coveted Gold Award.

The location is excellent, close enough to everything. The host was also very helpful and friendly. Due to late afternoon check in and whole day travelling, she suggested where we could go eat after refreshing ourselves. In addition, we needed a taxi on check out and booked it for us. Whilst we were waiting for it to arrive, she also offered a drink. Overall recommended +++++

It was comfortable. The room was bigger than expected. It was clean and made up each day. The teacakes were welcome! John welcomed us and was available whenever we were around, wishing us good morning, asking about our day and generally being very friendly. He was knowledgeable about the area and very responsive prior to arrival.

My last overnight stop from my vacation to catch the first ferry in the morning. The guest house is 10 minutes from the ferry so it is very convenient for travelers. The host Maria is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is rich and delicious. The room (7) is very cozy, quiet and the accommodation including the shower is very clean. Thank you very much. Best regards Manuela

This beautiful guesthouse is located right beside the train station, and within 5 to 10 minutes walk to the city center. My room was cosy and nice decorated! Everything was clean and all amenities were in a perfect working condition. There is a self check in which enables you to arrive and leave when you like. The hosts provide you with all the necessary details upon your arrival.

The hosts are very friendly. The apartment is in a fantastic location just a few minutes away from Dover Castle, the White Cliffs of Dover and more, but in a charming and quiet little village. I would definitely stay here again.

The guesthouse has a good location. It is near the city center and just a short drive to the White Cliffs of Dover (which is the main attraction of the town). Though right beside the road, once the window is closed it is fairly quiet inside the room. I was quite surprised. Users should be able to sleep well once the windows are closed.

A very nice and cosy guesthouse with a very good, gentle and nice host. He had all kinds of interessting stories to tell about Dover and its history. The room itself was decotated as a classic English room with almost vintage furniture. Nevertheless everything was very clean and the room had a fresh smell. The place was directly near the city centre but also very quiet.

The hostess was very nice and went out of her way to serve us a vegan and vegetarian breakfast. The guest house is very near to the city centre, and parking at the guest house is free. We had a lovely room with a nice view.
