1863 Restaurant with Rooms, hotel in Dockray

Set in the peaceful village of Pooley Bridge, 1863 Restaurant with Rooms is less than 500 metres from the shores of beautiful Lake Ullswater.

We have been holidaying in the Lakes for over 50 years, but Pooley Bridge has always seemed a bit too far. Not any more. A beautiful little village with a wonderful "B&B". How Booking.com can classify it as such is beyond me. It is a Michelin starred restaurant in every respect - food, wines, staff, atmosphere. Perfect. We will be back whenever we are in the area again Thank you

Great location, especially if you travel with a dog. There are some farm animals nearby but they are fenced. The cottage is spacious, quiet so you can easily relax. Since there is a kitchen you can cook there which is great. When we visited it was Sep and was warm so no complaints about that!
