Myself and my family have stayed here alot over the years, in various different rooms.
The place has become very tired and worn and could do with a spruce up.
Carpets ripped, mastic in kitchen all come away .
My room moel Arthur, which I have stayed in twice before was okay, but there was mold/ water damage on ceiling in room and in bathroom, sticky hand prints all over wall, dead wasps on windowsill, side tables sticky, toilet seat didn't fit the toilet. And one of the toilet rolls had blue which I can only imagine as toilet cleaner all over it.
Bed was extremely uncomfortable, woke several times with springs sticking in body and woke up aching and sore.
We love ruthin , and used to love staying in the feathers, but for the price for one night I believe it didn't reflect the presentation of the place on this occasion.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Lovely caravan in a tranquil location, perfect for a peaceful break and also a great base for exploring North Wales. Lots of birds to watch from the caravan whilst relaxing. Ruth was a great host, attentive whilst respectful of privacy.
Lovely views. Decor - we like William Morris! Quiet (apart from the road traffic).
Good size bedroom and en-suite. Nice dining room. Bonus that our hosts offered bar snacks as we found there are no places to eat inside in Corwen (though good takeaways).
Big cosy room, nicely decorated and furnished with a view over the hills. Very big bathroom. Excellent shower.
Great breakfast. Best poached eggs (on avocado and toast) I've ever had.
Excellent, quiet location. Nice host.
Very nice little guest house in a great location. Property is very quirky with lots of art work and various information about the place. Really clean and comfortable. Hosts very nice, helpful and not imposing.
Room was lovely, super comfy bed and well equipped - towels and toiletries provided, good WiFi connection. Good selection at breakfast, perfectly cooked hot food and great coffee. Excellent value.
we liked it very much, great location, very nice owners, clean, very comfortable beds, quiet, peaceful, we were with three children and also loved this place
Absolutely recommended 👌
Mat and Lynn were trully amazing!! Mat is a fantastic host, he was very communicative and making sure we had everything we needed at all times. He gave lots of recommendations that turned out to be great! The place was super clean, at a great location, next to a small river. Everything was very well planned from the hosts side. The breakfast was incredible. The effort that these guys put in these rooms and the whole experience is remarkable! Thanks for everything!
Very nice place with little patio , fully stacked kitchen, great heating , Internet, music system . Great host Nick . Great stay in the center of Corwen .
The location was quiet and relaxing. Lovely views with the lambs in the fields. It was off the beaten track, but in a great location for visiting different places.
One of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Quiet and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped.
The cottage was immaculately clean and spacious.
Children had enjoyed a lovely walk around the farm by the river and playing in the woods.
Host Belinda was very nice and helpful with advice what to visit around Eryri national park.
Very well recommended.
