The lady who did our check-in was just fantastic and really nice to talk. The breakfast was excellent and well cooked. The room was clean like a 5-star hotel and the bed was just really soft and cozy. I think it was the best stay I've ever had in the UK.

Everything was superb. Family that run it, the breakfast, the room, the welcome.... We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were great, friendly and helpful. We loved that there is a bar and restaurant on premises. We were walking Hadrian's Wall and this guest house is further from the path than we realized (totally our fault) but close to the bus into Carlisle. Would definitely recommend and will stay again if we're in Carlisle.
