Lovely clean, quiet and very homely place to stay. Great breakfast and lovely friendly hosts, i would definitely recommend it as a place to stay, and very convenient to get to, as just of motor way, which was great for going to Falkirk or Edinburgh.

Acer Lodge is a traditional Scottish, family-run guest house situated on the A90 Queensferry Road, a 15-minute drive from the heart of Edinburgh by bus/car and Edinburgh Airport.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The host Nicola gave us a very friendly welcome. The beds were comfortable. Lovely touch of coming home each evening to find cookies in the room. Only a few minutes walk to the train station and a little over half an hour train trip into Edinburgh. Pub a short walk away. Very quiet location and would stay again.
David was a great host, really helpful and pleasant and he keeps a lovely, comfortable home where we were made to feel very welcome. The location is perfect for trains to/from Edinburgh as it is less than a 5 minute walk to Armadale station with direct access to both Waverly and Newmarket which was perfect for the concert we were attending at Murrayfield. Thank you so much!
The location was good and the food was great. Breakfast was amazing and we had dinner there that was very good. It was quiet even downstairs is a pub. Staff was super friendly and helpful. It was clean. Price was cheap but you do get what you pay for.
We came to Edinburgh for the weekend and found this property miles cheaper than anything in the city centre but not a big drive at all to travel in and out of Edinburgh each day.
Property is great. More of a small house than a caravan. Full bath which is easier with the kids. Living space is really big and kitchen well equipped.
Lady who owns it popped over to say hi too and was so lovely and so welcoming.
Overall amazing value for money
Excellent value for money. When I came this felt like a home and not a hotel room. The building has real character, room was clean, cosy and comfortable with a great host. I would definitely come back here.
Extremely impressed with the host, very happy to help. The room was spotless, location was lovely, quiet and an easy, short drive to all local attractions.
Beds are very comfy.
Would highly recommend staying here and will be back.
