Stanton House Annex, a property with a garden, is situated in Bakewell, 18 km from Buxton Opera House, 34 km from Utilita Arena Sheffield, as well as 42 km from Alton Towers.

The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of places nearby to get an evening meal and we enjoyed an Indian meal in Bakewell and a pub meal at the Ashford Arms. We were meeting our daughter and the accommodation was perfect for catching up with family as there was a private sitting room. It was very quiet which was much appreciated.

The Peacock, hotel in Bakewell

Located in the heart of the Peak District National Park and surrounded by villages, historic sites and stately homes, the historic Peacock has undergone continuous renovation over the last few years...

Cosy little pub as you arrive, location is right in the centre of the village, with parking available, pub was told to be haunted, but nothing went bump in the night, as bed was too nice not to sleep well.

Friendly greeting on arrival, and all info needed was passed on, such as night entrance when pub was shut. The complimentary food and drinks tray in the room was awesome. We kept finding more things as we rummaged through. The hairdryer didn’t work, so I informed the bar staff who rang the landlady, and she met me back up in the rooms, and found me a new one. But was also willing to lend me hers if she hadn’t found one. I was standing there with wet hair, and a dinner booking in less than an hour, so was much appreciated!! The mattresses of both beds were very comfy, too. Although next to main road through the town, it was quiet at night.

The location of the Tannery Gardens in Bakewell was perfect. So quiet and relaxing. Good parking, lovely hosts and such easy access to the room. The breakfast was perfect, just what we wanted, a short walk to the guest house serving it.

Robin’s nest is lovely and excellently located accommodation. It is comfortable and furnished with a lot of thought and taste. Although in courtyard with shops it is vey quiet in the evening. The location is great to access restaurants and shops in Bakewell. Julie and Rik are great hosts which thoughtfully passed all needed info in great detail and in time.
