Very nice country house with very charming hosts. Quiet location with wonderful swimming pool and great breakfast in the beautiful garden. The restaurants of Sarlat can be reached on foot if you are willing to walk uphill for 20 to 25 minutes after dinner. Olivier and Naina have super tips for restaurants and sightseeing and do everything to make their guests' stay as pleasant as possible.

We absolutely loved our stay at La Bayardine! Franck and Nelly went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The house and rooms are beautiful. Breakfast was delicious too! We would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Sarlat. Thank you for everything!

The property is perfectly located in Sarlat . Close to everything and if are driving is just close to free parking spots The owner of the property is very gentle and is always trying to make us feel at home ( and he really was successful on that !)

It was perfect. The room was really comfortable, it was quiet but right next to the old town and Michelle and Patrick were perfect hosts. The apartments and house were beautiful and the nearby parking was very convenient.

1. Perfect place to get away from it all and to relax and unwind. 2. Jérôme could not have been more attentive and welcoming. 3. The house is spacious and elegant with fantastic facilities (we especially appreciated the pool and jacuzzi and will use the tennis courts next time!) and stunning views. There is also a kitchen you and other guests can make use of. 4. Great breakfast experience. Jérôme was very attentive and it is a beautiful spot where you can see Osiris the goat pottering around outside. 5. You can just about reach the beautiful medieval town of Sarlat by foot but a short drive is easier.

Friendly hosts lovely food cooked by the host with a jovial manner.I had my dog with and was surrounded by grass so ideal, and lovely places to visit a short drive away.

The accommodation comprises one room with a screen split between the bedroom area and the kitchen/diner which includes a sofa bed. There is a separate toilet, shower and utility room. The rooms are well equipped and spotlessly clean with ample cooking equipment both inside and outside. Outside there is a private area which includes table and benches, a 2 seater seat, chairs, and 2 sun loungers. Cooking options outside included a charcoal barbecue and gas grill with charcoal and gas provided. The gardens and pool were well kept and also spotlessly clean. When we visited (September) we were often the only people at the pool. The breakfasts were superb. The owner was a pastry chef and every morning we were provided with bread, pastries, homemade yoghurt and fruit juice. Excellent. The house is about a 5 minute walk from the centre of Sarlat on footpaths, but it was close enough to the countryside to hear owls every night. Lastly, we were allowed to bring our bikes and had plenty of space to store them. Thank you.
