The old house and its little garden is charming. Room with bathroom is cozy, clean and homely. Beatifully served breakfast awaited us both mornings. Hostess Petra is very friendly and she gave us some uselfull tips and good advices. On a hot summer day, the thick stone walls of the 300-year-old beautiful house provides suitably cool conditions inside and only a fan is enough if necessary. We highly recommend this accomodation.

Le Petite Maison is a lovely place, located in a quiet street close to the center of Giverny, in easy walking distance to Monets Garden, several restaurants and a bakery. It’s a small house with a private garden. There are 3 bedrooms, each with a separate bathroom. The beds are comfortable and you can ask for an additional duvet, if you don’t like to share the big one that’s on the bed. The kitchen is well stocked and includes a coffee maker with capsules, cooking essentials like salt, oil and vinegar and even an electric citrus press. What really makes this place special is that we felt right at home, when we walked into the house. It’s furnished and decorated with so much love and care. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and went over and above to make us feel welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back one day.

It was a really good place, it´s close to Giverny and Vernon, the little town is beautiful as well. The service was super nice, they are kind people and it´s a cozy and perfect room. I recommend going by car because the buses are not a regular service in the area, actually, the family I helped with that because I was needing back to Paris on the weekend, so that, if you don´t have car it´s better to check the buses and trains beforehand.

Le Hautes Sources is a beautifully restored country farm house nestled in peaceful Normandie countryside. Amaury our host was attentive to our needs and kindly booked some good restaurants for us nearby. Our elegant and spacious room was pristine, tastefully furnished and had all the comforts of home. The views were exquisite, perfect place to unwind after visiting Claude Monet’s Gardens and House which are nearby. We look forward to returning. Thank you both for a perfect last night in France.
