The owner met us at the property and showed us everything. The cave apartment was charming and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the shower very hot.
A wonderfully unique property in the centre of the Loire Valley, perfectly located beside vineyards, and close to Vouvray. A gorgeous and authentic cave experience, with very friendly hosts. Beautiful bedding, log fire which was lit for us, and decorated in very chic French style. Worries highly recommend if visiting Loire.
A small, but comfortable cave with enough, but basic facilities for a couple. We found the accommodation stayed lovely and cool even when mid-30s outside. Marie was very helpful, friendly and a great hostess. A well stocked supermarket was only a few minutes drive away. Parking no problem and a very peaceful location, convenient for site seeing. Great location for family cycling with quiet lanes and cycle paths.
Great location, many places to explore nearby, very quiet. The gîte was clean, well decorated, cosy and the size was good. Shower was very good. The bed was comfortable. The staff are very helpful and available 24h. WiFi worked well. Kitchenette was nice, indoor seating comfortable. Checking in and out was as smooth as it could be. Check in times are till midnight, which relieved the pressure on us to try to get there quickly. The experience of living in a cave was unique.
Relaxed charming place. The room was comfortable and very clean. There was even a fridge and a microwave available.The host was très sympatique, very helpful with needed information about the environment.
Unfortunately I didn't got the chance to try their lunch. The odors that where coming from the kitchen, where the chef was preparing the mis en place for the lunch, were promising. next time!!
