Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Great accommodation , in a pretty village. We stayed 1 night whilst travelling. Great location, in the middle of the village but it was so quiet and easy to park ( behind the accommodation). The place was very comfortable and we ate a nice meal in the restaurant. Perfect, thank you!
Cheap simple and central. Normally a restaurant but not Sunday evening when we stayed. Staff helpful and welcoming. An absolute bonus is free parking almost outside. Breakfast simple but good. An outside terrace which is quiet for drinks.
Fresh breakfast served in the kitchen. Lovely quiet location in the countryside and friendly hosts. Huge room and comfortable bed. My car satnav was useless but the phone got us there. Chickens and ducks in the courtyard. Great!
Nice quiet location, friendly host, good continental breakfast and dog friendly.
