Lovely, kind hosts and a cosy studio in a beautiful garden with a little stream running through. It was so quiet and peaceful there so combined with the comfort of the bed, we slept like logs.
Breakfast was delivered to us and was excellent - fresh bread, butter, jams, yoghurt, fruits and juice as well as fresh cake. A pot of steaming coffee and steamed milk.

Very tranquil and calm with beautiful surrounding countryside. Use of garden - Jean Louis provided us with tasty homegrown tomatoes, figs and cucumber. Well situated to explore local historic towns.

I think I would stay here just for the bed - heavenly, like crawling into a nest. The room was great - part medieval, part modern (we had an arrow slot in our bathroom to defend from marauders :) and you could close out all the light if that's how you like to sleep (like me) or have the windows open to the quiet countryside and listen to the birds. The rest of the castle/guest house was nicely restored as well and the grounds and pool made for a wonderful escape to the country. It's more of a guest house than a hotel or B&B - a very nice breakfast buffet is provided but there are no staff in the hotel overnight (though the owner lives on the property nearby) and you have to drive for lunches or dinners. Highly recommended nonetheless!

The host/owner quickly responded to questions. He was cooperative in every way. Location of the apartment is about a 4 minute walk to the centre ville, restaurants, the Saturday market, the Henri IV Museum. Also, it was very quiet despite being inside the village. He provided topnotch laundry facilities and WIFI was fast and available throughout the apartment.
Perfect for a couple wanting to stay close to Nerac but in a very quiet part of town. What a great nights sleep. And, wonderfully welcoming hosts with everything you would need.
