The rebuilding was just recently so everything is not just pretty new, but also chosen with high quality and a look for the details. Warm welcome. Modern, spacious, quiet room. Very clean. Very easy parking. Good walking area. Substantial breakfast buffet. Enjoyed watching the chickens strutting around the large garden.
Clean and comfortable room with a basic kitchen which is much needed by us after eating at restaurants for a month long holiday, quiet location and close to Chambord Castle, the another highlight is that guests can fill up their water bottles with filtered water provided.
It was great to spend a night in a chateau overlooking the Loire. The place is beautifully preserved with lots of interesting historical features. Host and hostess Bill and Maria were very welcoming.
Our room was excellent: a large bedroom with view over the river and a sitting room adjacent to it. We enjoyed a very good breakfast in a room with beautiful paintings.
We highly recommend this place.
