For us it is the perfect stopover. The room was on the ground floor and we could unload the luggage right in front of it. A big bonus is the free parking. Breakfast was good with home made yoghurt and fresh fruit, croissants and a selection of jams. It was nice to be able to have breakfast outside on the terrace. We will certainly come back on drive back through France

Breakfasts are excellent with freshly made cakes and yoghurts a lovely touch. The hosts were thoughtful, kind and knowledgable- nothing was too much trouble and we would definitely stay again.

We loved everything. Remi and Monique are absolutely charming and cannot do enough for you. They offer a spotless and completely private self contained apartment within their beautiful home. The room was clean and bright. Denis and his wife were very attentive and friendly and couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome.
Attractively set in the centre of Avignon, the recently renovated La Pignotte offers well-equipped accommodation featuring air conditioning, free WiFi and flat-screen TV.

Oh, yes, I forgot to say a few words about Jean Luc that was the perfect host. Always with a smile, he made us feel like home, like a friend welcoming old friends coming to visit him in the superb countryside of Provence.
Quiet place outside the city but easy to reach by car. Very spacious room/apartment. Air conditioning available. Beautiful pool for swimming in the garden. Safe parking. Good breakfast, with indoor and outdoor options. Friendly and attentive host. Inexpensive for the amount of services and the spacy room, cheaper than comparable alternatives. The best accommodation during our 8-days travel through south-eastern France. We were sorry that the next days we stayed overnight in Nimes, we should have booked two nights there instead.
The fact that the host Jean Luc, a charming and helpful widower, has really married his hotel and thus manages it with extraordinary care and tenderness. All this in a location that is perfect as a base to explore the beatiful Provence. And finally the bargain of getting a 40m2 room for the price of the standard 18m2 room.
Really comfortable large room. Very clean and quiet. Good quality breakfast. Really enjoyed the cheese, bread and coffee. The host really takes the extra effort to make guests feel welcome and is very accommodating and friendly.

Our dog was welcome, the room very nice and the breakfast very tasty. It's an inspiring, quiet place with lots of ambience, and yet the centre of Avignon is very close. And once again a thank you to the host Jean-Luc from Thea, Fiko and Chewy, we felt very comfortable!
