We stayed for two nights for a wedding nearby. We loved this bed and breakfast. It had beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Rooms were comfy and clean. We also really enjoyed talking to Bruno and meeting the cats!

We found this Chambre d'hôtes de l'écluse d'Episy near Fontainebleau south of Paris. It is quite small: a converted garage, but big enough for the two of us. There is a jacuzzi which unfortunately we didn’t have time to use but it looked lovely. We easily drove into Fontainebleau for dinner.

We had a wonderful warm welcome from our hosts. The whole Bergerie is beautifully thought out and maintained in a most peaceful setting. It is extremely comfortable and nothing is too much trouble. We enjoyed our short stay very much and intend to return for longer in future.
The host family is so charming, friendly and helpful, that we immediately felt welcome in this beautifully restored and appointed farmhouse.
Just one regret: not enough time to fully take advantage of the pool area and the countryside suroundings. We'll be definitely back on one of our next trips to the Altlantic coast.
Our room was beautifully decorated and provided any comfort one may desire.
The welcome was exceptional and the room exceeded my expectations. Warm, lots of hot water, very comfortable bed and a quiet location. There are good restaurants nearby for an evening meal, though as I was tired I stayed in my lovely room to relax
