Breakfast was more than you could wish, and the location was exceptional, not too far from the town and quiet enough for relaxation, Florian and Elena were the best hosts you could wish for, great food, wine and lovely company, attentive to what you need, and also allowing you to share their home with the space and time to relax.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Le Petit Bois Normand is a charming and comfortable cottage. It is the perfect base for exploring the area, including attractions such as Mont St Michel and Bayeux. Sandrine was very friendly and helpful, the cottage is very clean and the rural area beautifully quiet.
If you like the French countryside then this place is just for you! The hostess has prepared a nice guide of things to do in the area and provides a great breakfast option!
From the moment we arrived we knew we had chosen well! We were shown our good sized rooms by exceptional hosts who were friendly and welcoming and during our stay went out of their way to assist us when needed. The situation of the B&B is beautiful as is the B&B itself. It is also ideal for those loving countryside walks and only about 15 minutes from a town about 55 minutes from Mont St Michel. Would definitely go there again!
