Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
This is an old style French hotel. My room had clearly been renovated. The staff were very friendly and the evening meal was excellent. Breakfast was a bit basic but the half board arrangement was not expensive. Good situation less than 10 minutes walk from the Main Street. Quiet area and car park to the rear of the hotel. Ideal for a stopover for one night
Isabelle was a lovely welcoming hostess. The room was comfortable and the shower was great. Breakfast was included in the price and was very nice. Fresh fruit, juice, and a basket of croissants and bread with spreads and coffee. We were able to park our car across the road on the sand street for no cost. We could walk into the centre to restaurants. We enjoyed a meal and Cafe du Vin in the square and one at Sulli.
Madam was an excellent and charming host, location central but quiet, room outstanding, bed and pillow very comfortable, dinner recommendation superb, breakfast delicious
Extremely central in the beautiful old town. Isabelle was a very warm and welcoming host. Everything was very clean and organised and there was a very nice breakfast.
Location and parking was great, all well managed by Isabelle who was a wonderful host. Nothing was too much trouble for her and the breakfast in her charming flat was delicious. Her company at breakfast was welcome and she was so interesting as a person.
Extremely welcoming and friendly host, so helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean and nicely presented. The breakfast was superb, particularly the hosts young son’s homemade pancakes!
Neat and tidy. Clean. Compact. Had everything needed. Hosts were brilliant. Very accommodating and hospitable.
