Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Friendly staff, great cabin, pool and snack bar. Quiet at night. Very relaxing stay. Well connected. Close to Ares and a range of shops. Extended our stay.
Pool, apparently mildly heated. Breakfast included, by French standards a large one. Quiet , secluded setting. WiFi; TV had an HDMI socket, so if you aren't a very fluent French speaker bring a streaming stick. Felt homely, possibly due to quirky features like the cute modernistic paintings. Deck with chairs and table. Didn't seem to get hot, possibly due to the layout of the site. We'd use it again if we were coming.
The gate opened and suddenly we were in paradise… booked a night on the hoof and just had to stay for another!

Breakfast was lovely and the hosts were very friendly and generous with local information. Our hosts recommendations were invaluable. The room was fantastic, so clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here and will do so again in the future.
Everything - the hosts, the quiet location (a 5 minute cycle to the town centre), the fact that our bikes could be parked in a dry, secure place, the apartment itself which was equipped with everything one might need, the outdoor seating area. A wonderful place!
Lovely B&B, great host and really beautiful garden / pool to relax by. The host was very welcoming (as was the dog) and the breakfast was delicious, including fresh pancakes!
Lovely hosts (conversation was limited but there English was better than our French), clean and comfy room - no bath but modern walk-in shower, nice pool and gardens, quiet area and short walk to local beach.
