I arrived exhausted after a very long day's cycling and it was nice to have found somewhere friendly and traditional. Traditional accommodation has more character. The hosts were helpful and had a safe place for my bike.

the location is excellent for himing and biking, very knowledgable host who is very willing to suggest routes. The breakfast is very good but there is also a well equipped kitchen to prepare your own meals

I liked the history and quiet loaction. My room terrace was a good size for sunbathing in August with lovely views over the mountains. I saw a lightening storm from there & full moon. It was tranquil. The towels were good quality & a spacious room & bathroom..I was only a short country walk to Poblet monastery where I found a gorgeous courtyard cafe/restaurant.
I ate breakfast at the hotel with varying choices, dinner isn't offered, though . BUT you can use the microwave & fridge storage to prepare eggs at breakfast yourself or to make a small meal using microwave, storing salad & fruits. There are 2 restaurants attached to hotel. And a great Philippines restaurant a short walk from Spar shop,.for all kinds of foods & good coffee & good herbal teas..There are a few food places near there also The property is very interesting though..And a local man feeds local cats nearby. Don't think there are lots of strays, roaming around as there aren't.He touched my heart when I realised what he was doing. He was so kind
During high season you can use the nearby outdoor pool for €2.50 run by local councils. Restaurant/bar there too..Don't stay here if you are ignorant and expect it to be like Salou or Tarragona or Cambrils. You MUST know some basic Spanish as it IS a Spanish, mountain town.

Very friendly, helpful host. The accommodation was in a good location, quiet, clean and tidy. There was parking close by.
