Beautiful comfortable room, great bed, nice bathroom with electric towel heater. All very new and immaculately clean. Great location on a quiet street only 2 minutes by foot to the Cathedral. Friendly helpful staff, good value for money. The café/bar at street level is cozy and well priced. We will stay here again next time!

Caldas de Reis is one of our favorite Camino towns. Its a long walk to get there. It an apartment (Air B&B) on top of a photo, printing place closer to the old town. There was confusion again about access to the property. The owner used my mobile whatsapp to send the details, she didnt use the booking .com portal to communicate. We called her since we had a Spanish SIM card and she said she would wait at the property. There is no buzzer, you need to call her and she came down to get us. She was able to review our travel documents which we were glad considering many apartments want you to send the details via text which is a security issue.
The large room with 3 beds were very lovely and comfortable. There was a common area and kitchen were we could make some hot drinks which was nice. The room was very well furnished. Its very close to the old town, there are two really good restaurants - both by the bridge. One is below the bridge and one is beside it, they both are great for seafood since you are Galicia and I would recommend the one beside the bridge. The town has a thermal bath (at least you can soak your tired feet). There was a festival for the Virgin Mary so there were many concerts and festivities. The old town is really love to walk, and one of the loveliest small bridge and water fountain. Check it out. We loved this town and wish we had stayed one more day to chill out. The city has palm trees which was so cool. We had breakfast nearby bakery.
Offering city views, A Casa do Latoneiro is an accommodation located in Caldas de Reis, 14 km from Cortegada Island and 30 km from Pontevedra Railway Station.

Loved the location! Enjoyed watching them setting up the Monday market in the street. The windows in the unit were huge. Lovely shower.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
We were met by Mari Carmen as we had gotten lost (our fault). The house was lovely, well cared-for and clean and had all the amenities required for a short and longer stay. We loved the welcome basket with goodies to eat - a great idea for pilgrims who normally arrive hungry and are too tired to go shopping or cook immediately. Beds were comfortable and warm blankets are provided for guests- comfort. Mari Carmen is a great hostess.
The beautiful house in the quiet area, 10 minutes drive from Padron. We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed everything. The hosts are helpful and nice. The place has good facilities, is very clean and comfortable. The garden and the pool are a bonus.
Big and spacious . Clean and new . Near town but not in town so it’s quiet environment . On the Camino . Host provides so many items for use . Thank you !
Literally on the Camino, great location & felt like a bit of luxury. Lovely room, relatively quiet, great breakfast & evening meal at reasonable price. Staff very helpful
lovely house, very quiet and great location just off the Camino de Portuguese route. Clean, comfy beds, good selection for breakfast, use of coffee machine and juicer. Friendly, relaxed host. I would like to come back when the pool is in use in summer.
The property was very nice, clean and comfortable. It is located at a quiet place between Padron and Santiago. There is everything you need, plus you can find a nice pool in the garden. Roberto is such a great host, he was very friendly and helpful and he speaks a good level of english which we appreciated a lot as we dont speak spanish. It was the best place we stayed at during our journey to Santiago de Compostela.
