The owner of the property was very welcoming, he cooked us a very tasty meal. He speaks great English, which was very helpful as we don’t speak any Spanish. The property was very clean throughout and nicely renovated. We enjoyed our stay and we would return if we were visiting the area again.

It's a small town. The hostal is in the center. The rooms are beautiful and I had a huge terrace. The owner also runs the bar/restaurant downstairs. I had a nice dinner. The breakfast buffet was also great. He is super attentive and has great local knowledge. Room was quite, spotless clean. Bed was huge. I felt really wellcome!

Nice rural location. The hostal is the heart of the village. Great bar below rooms. Fantastic location for hiking and meeting others. Good value.
This rustic-style guest house features stone walls, wooden beamed ceilings and rooms which have been carefully decorated.

The warm welcome from the hosts was so wonderful after a challenging walk on the Camino Baztan. The room was very clean and the accommodation was very quiet despite being literally on the main road (no traffic, really and double glazing blocked out everything). The heating was very appreciated and the shower was hot.
A lovely stay! Lovely charming guesthouse where the hosts make you feel special.

Huge old hillside chalet. Quiet, clean, safe. It is like its owners; old & tired. Reception, from memory, has no sign. It is the office. The man was helpful and was kind enough to speak English. The rooms are up a flight of steps on the outside to the front door. Inside are common rooms and the bedrooms. All clean and quiet and bright.
The common room has two large blue sofas, table, table and chairs, kitchenette with fridge/freezer, microwave etc. A small sink. Television. WIFI was OK.
The bedroom was clean and big. Two single beds with good linen. Wardrobe. Bedside table and lamp. Large windows for fresh air. Roller shutter. Tawny Owl calling at night.
The shower room is of a good size. Single headed shower works well with plenty of hot water. Towels and hand soap provided. The shower room like everywhere is clean. Outside is a very nice quiet garden with lovely views. Plenty of parking.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Very welcoming host Tito. Beautiful little village. Great breakfast and even better evening meals. Would recommend their vegetable broth . Well priced clean and Tito and his staff are so easy to engage with even with the language barrier. Definitely recommend
Exceptional value for money. Comfortable, clean room with breakfast. Dinner in the evening, particularly the fish, was beautifully cooked using fresh home grown ingredients and was very reasonably priced. Lovely friendly hosts. Relaxing stay - thank you for having us!
Huge, immaculate and comfortable apartment with views over the village. We were just passing on our way to Portugal but I think for cyclists, hikers or motorcycle touring it would be a wonderful spot for a longer stay. The host was so helpful and gave us some great local tips.
Our stay at Hostal Ezkurra was wonderful! Excellent food, friendly hosts, and lovely rooms. The fish from the grill at was absolutely fantastic! Highly recommended.
Clean room and hosbitality of the owners,
Quiet, rural location,
Good value for money,
Breakfast was easy but satisfying with toast, fruits, juice, cake, cheese, jam,... and a lot of fresh coffee 👍
Amazing location, amazing atmosphere. Authentic Navarre experience. The family running the Hostal are so friendly and welcoming. Dinner at the restaurant, sitting out on the roadside front balcony with the local families, was so special. The chef BBQed a whole halibut for us, with tomato & tuna salad. Perfect. Try the water from the well, and visit the pelota court across the road.
If you are a fan of minimalistic accomodation to cover the basics then this is a place for you! Host was 10 out of 10 and village felt cozy and safe! Parking was just outside the house. Late arrival was well accepted.
Loved everything about this Hostal. José-Louis made us most welcome. His staff were friendly and great fun. Dinner was excellent and breakfast was great. Would love to come back again to stay here in this beautiful part of Spain .
