Beautiful hostal located in just in front of the Pedraforca mountain complex, with unique views and exceptionally warm and professional staff. Around Saldes and Gósol, plenty of different activities can be found, to explore and enjoy the area. Information is available at the hostal reception. At the same time, the common areas of the hostal are cozy and comfortable.
The swimming pool and the terrace are exceptional, facing the Pedraforca at sunset.
The restaurant offered a large breakfast buffet (regularly restocked). At dinner, the menu was offering multiple options made of local products. The staff was very kind and efficient, always ready to translate from Catalan to Spanish and English, explaining the composition of the different dishes.
It is very easy to reach the hostal, plenty of direction signs are installed. There is also a large free parking available.
Offering a shared lounge and quiet street view, Hostal Fonda Prat is located in Puigcerdà, 600 metres from Real Club de Golf de Cerdaña and 6.9 km from Municipal Museum of Llivia.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Wonderful location, host and facilities. Comfortable and cosy. We parked outside and left our car there for our stay and walked around the old town, to the pool and to Santo Maria del Tallo, a sacred place a short walk away where there is a magnificent display plus films of the area -where you pick up the key. Many cafes, shops and restaurants close to the flat.
Everything was more than perfect. It is a new building and everything is new, appliances, beds, sofas, underfloor heating, powerful shower. Comforable beds and quiet location.
Very nice old building with some charm and rooms were well decorated. The host made it easy for us to check in even if we arrived outside of business hours

The property is fantastic; 10/10 for everything. Location is stunning, quality of the house, warmth without needing to put the heating on, scenery, bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size and clean. Kitchen had what we needed and the living area was spacious and confortable.
We were 4 but easily could have slept another 4-6 people.
