I arrived here after a long day of walking the Camino Frances and it was great! Check in is next door and super easy. I got my keys and was led to my super clean room. There is an option for breakfast for an additional fee which I took. They have a property nearby with washer and dryer that I got access to which was very nice.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
It was a unique experience to sleep in a medieval tower. Lovely views and a quiet picturesque location. Our host, the owner is an artist and her renovation of the tower is a work of her art.
This is an amazing small boutique guest house carefully decorated in a unique medieval style. We've never stayed anywhere quite like it before.
Our room was beautifully furnished and very spacious, with private access via the lift or spiral staircase. Delicious breakfast in the morning too.
Easy parking either directly outside or at the nearby bar.
Village bar is really lively and welcoming with a good selection of food and drinks.
Local scenery is stunning and Santo Domingo de la Calzada is only 20 mins away.
Really fabulous !
Very special and unique hotel. Lovely attention to details and beautifully and thoughtful decorated in a Medieval style. Very nice touch to have medieval music at breakfast (and even in the room in you want). Breakfast is included which is another nice touch. Everything was spotlessly clean and the facilities were very good.
Angela was a great host and certainly went the extra mile for us. Would certainly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We will definitely go back next time we visit Rioja.
Wonderful location with very comfortable bungalow. Staff were incredibly helpful and the wine tasting was interesting and fun. Very quiet and relaxing
