Rooms at Pazo Santa María are spacious and charming. They have heating and a private bathroom. The hotel also has a restaurant, a bar and a terrace, with impressive views.

This is a wonderful old manor house (Pazo) and outbuildings which have been converted into a beautiful and comfortable hotel. It was highly recommended to me by a friend - I was walking the Camino de Santiago with my son - and it still exceeded my expectations. The welcome is friendly and attentive and the service excellent. The rooms and the whole place generally are beautiful. The food in the restaurant is absolutely exceptional and the wine list outstanding. The breakfast is similarly exceptional. The Pazo is located about a kilometre from Arzua, and the Camino del Norte passes within a few metres of it as to heads towards the joinup point in the town with the Camino Frances. This place is more than worth the little detour even at the end of a long walking day and the kindly owner dropped us in the town the next morning to resume our walk.

We had a very short stay but it was lovely. We were really looked after by the hosts who had to stay up after midnight to let us in (after a delayed flight). They left some lovely food for us and were very friendly. Thanks for your hospitality!

The host provided not just accommodation, but a set of provision, so we can cook a simple but nice dinner and breakfast. It really made our day because after the whole day of walk in a bad weather we just couldn't face going out for a meal. Thank you, we had really great stay!

Nice deck, quiet location. Albergue nearby served food but it was a bit of a walk down the highway. If you need a private room at this spot on the Camino, this place is fine.

Great place for a family or group for the last night on the Camino Portugues. The place had everything we needed and even provided more than basic necessities (noodles, tomato sauce, spices, milk, coffee, muffins). The hostess was very nice and even brought by a bottle of wine as well as lettuce and eggs from her own garden. We would stay again.

Maricarmen is a warm, gracious hostess who met us at the property, gave us rides because of the torrential rain, and helped us book somewhere for dinner. She also brought us Padron peppers and fresh eggs for breakfast along with other continental breakfast items, which was thoughtful. The house is spacious and traditional, and its quiet location in the woods was very peaceful. We especially liked the big multi-jet shower!
