The couple owning and running the business are very kind and friendly. The place is ideal for families with young children. We were travelling with 2 kids (5yr and 7month baby) and felt very welcome and we'll accommodated.
Of course the goats are central to the experience,but by all means not the only attraction.
Breakfast was simple,as in " typical "for Germany and well enough.
The bike path running along the river Elbe is right next to the property, so taking (nature)walks is easy.
The room was stunning, bathroom clean and definitely way more upscale than can be expected.

I booked the room quite late. When I arrived it was 1am already but the host was still awake waiting for me!
I was positively surprise about my stay. Beautiful apartment, fully equipped with everything. The bed is very soft and the host is very thoughtful and even provided slippers in the room. The owner was cheerful and polite!
The owners, especially our hostess, could not have been more hospitable. Parking is in the courtyard of this old building behind the large gateway leading from the street and someone always seemed to be there to open it. Our room was on the ground floor and the bed was comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find we had an English language television channel. Breakfast was good. We speak very little German and our hostess had very little English but we chatted using her mobile phone. She was very friendly.
Almost everything was just here. From dishwasher tablets and soap for the washing machine to a few packets of instant coffee. Since I traveled daily to the nearby Stendal airfield, the location was just brilliant for me. Nearby is also a supermarket (800m by foot, 3 minutes by car).
The neighborhood is quiet and looks kid-friendly. I could park my car behind a fence, which I appreciated.
Cosy hotel. Friendly staff. Very clean. Spatious rooms. Breakfast room is beautiful, breakfast tasty and plenty. Balcony was a nice extra. Good location, about 10mins walk to the city centre.
Very nice hotel in the Zentrum of Stendal. Very helpful staff as we arrived a little early for check-in. Spent the afternoon and early evening walking about the city - lovely German town on a very quiet Sunday.
Located in a quiet street right in the old centre of Stendal. Friendly and helpful personnel, good breakfast. Room was a bit dark, but otherwise comfortable and very clean. Very good on-site restaurant.
