Good accommodation for cyclists - there is a locked bike store across the road. The unit is large, the bed comfortable, the wifi OK, the kitchen well equipped and there plenty of hot water. Check-in was a little like a treasure hunt but all the instructions worked perfectly. The location is perfect - the unit is beside a set of stairs leading up from the Danube, right in the middle of the historic, cobbled altstadt and there's a great cafe in the same building. We stayed two nights and wished we had booked for longer.

Great location, just between Germany and Austria. We were making jokes that I'm sleeping in Austria and my son was sleeping in Germany 🤣. We stayed in a big room, plenty of space, beds comfortable. We stayed only for one night as we were in transit and needed some sleep 😴. We slept well, thank you 😊.

Great location, easy to get to on the bus. Roomy apartment with all facilities you need. My wife loved having a bath after a long day sightseeing. Hosts were very helpful and responsive
Slap bang in the middle of old town. Any number of Cafés , Pubs, Eateries in easy walking distance. Beautiful view of the Donau. Quaint shops everywhere. Nice and quiet at night. Luggage could be stored for the day before departing.

Great location right in the city center, friedly service, good value for money, comfy bed, quiet room. There are a few parking spots in front of the hotel, however, they were occupied, the guys at the reception suggested a few free (over the weekend) parkings close in the area and we parked there. It was our second stay at Boutique Hotel Morgentau and like the first time, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is centrally located, but in a quiet street. The rooms are tastefully furnished and well equipped. Beds are comfy. Definitely our go-to place in Passau, we would definitely come back, despite the minor inconveniences mentioned below.
Its a nice hotel for a weekend gateway. The staff is very friendly the breakfast is good. The City Center is approx. 15 Minute walk away. The hotel is in a quiet area.
Great location overlooking the Danube and very close to the cathedral and city centre. We had breakfast there every day during our stay, there was a good selection of cold meats, cheese, bread, cereals, a choice of eggs, and Bacon etc. We had one evening meal which was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The location was good within walking distance to the river and city Center. Parking was great in the hotels own garage for 7 euros. Our two small dogs were welcome without extra charge. The room was clean and quiet and the bed comfortable with nice white sheets. The breakfast was extra good with different eggs, pastries, cut fresh fruits and tasty coffee.
