We absolutely adored our 4-night stay in Pension Waldheim. The charm of the place is off the charts and the location is so perfect for hiking, but also for popping into the city by tram. We found our room clean and comfortable, with everything we needed (sink, towels, closet, table, chairs, stand for clothing and luggage and of course a bed with night stands and very nice reading lights). Our view on the mountain, and the babbling sound of the brook running by, were lovely. Ear plugs are provided, since the building is old and a bit noisy, but we didn't need those and found all the people staying there quiet and respectful. As were the hosts, so kind and helpful. Breakfast is a lovely and diverse buffet, which can be used on short notice (notified the evening before). The showers and toilets are shared, which was not a problem for us, there was always at least one available and they were clean. We would love to come back! Maybe when it's cold and the beautiful ceramic wood stove is fired!

One of our amazing stays. Let's start with a location that is close to the attractions in the Black Forest. At first we planned to stay 6 nights and extended to 8 nights. We got apartment number 33, insanely comfortable, spectacular view, quiet, clean, new, kitchenette that has everything. The most important thing is the warm welcome of the whole team. Courteous and friendly staff, kind, and available. Highly recommend . Best stay I've ever had.

Parking is conveniently just steps away at a large lot and you get a discount through the hotel. The staff was so friendly, both check in (we were late and they waited for us) and check out. The room was spacious, clean, tastefully decorated. We liked this area of the Aldstadt - it's a little quieter, more quaint. Highly recommend!
