Great breakfast prepared for us although we were the only 4 guests at the hotel that day. Very quaint and comfortable rooms. A garden for a drink and a smoke. They went out of their way to accommodate us!

We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed a week for the peace and quiet and lovely fresh air. The location and ambience of this place exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and comfortable with a little balcony overlooking the forested hills. Short easy walk through the forest to the breathtaking castle. Do try the almond mead in the well tower of the castle.
Breakfast was laid out for us at a time convenient to us and consisted of fresh rolls, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt, orange juice and coffee.
The staff were very friendly and we were even offered great coffee while waiting for our taxi after check out. Just note that you need either a car or a taxi to get to the hotel from the train station if you have a lot of luggage.

Really liked it here, bit of a walk, though that is the area. It's time out in the country kinda thing.
They got a small kitchen there you can heat stuff up. And really spacious.
Petr even picked me up from the train station.

We were a group of eight musicians travelling home from a music festival. We had the hotel to ourselves, including a sunny terrace on which to meet and relax. Apart from some rather temperamental water pressure and temperature, everything was excellent. We provided our own breakfast and used the tea and coffee making facilities on offer.

We chose to upgrade to a slightly bigger room and it was very spacious. Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We could see the castle from our window, and it was a short walk up the hill to it. The location is very quiet and peaceful.
This small studio is in a quiet location and you have a semi private seating area. There are many local sites to see and the river is a short, but very steep, walk. Hiking is very good, even from the house. The bed and linen were really nice and the use of a washing machine was an asset. The host was responsive to our questions and happily provided restaurant recommendations

The guest house is located right at the foot of the hill where Karlstejn Castle is situated, so you get to see the impressive castle right from your bedroom window, which is absolutely wonderful.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the rooms were modern and cozy.
With a bit more attention to the cleaning of the rooms, the owners of this place can rest assured that they own a true gem in beautiful Karlstejn!
