Yuliana is a lovely Human to meet, and has been incredibly helpful with all questions and Amazon recommendations, and even more, as I had troubles with my flight booking and she managed to solve it with me. The owners were beyond accommodating for us following a late arrival due to delayed transport and then helped us with getting passports stamped and getting to the airport. The hostel itself was a great location with perfect, clean facilities and amazing staff.

Staying with Mari and her family made my visit to the Amazon absolutely amazing. From the moment Mari picked me up at the airport on her motorcycle until she took me back 5 days later I felt cared for in a way that would never have happened in a hotel. It can be so confusing to sort out tours, etc. in Leticia, but Mari listened to what I wanted to do and see and helped me set up an itinerary that was just perfect. The highlight of the trip being a solo 5-hour walk/canoe ride with her brother, Elvis, through the jungle. He has a wealth of knowledge about all facets of the jungle and the people who live there. I am so grateful to Mari to opening her home to me and making me feel like part of the family.

We needed an inexpensive- one night stay prior to our Amazon tour. The location was right in town. The room has a fan. Ww asked for a stand alone fan- It was HOT…and they brought one right away.

Leticias Guest House served as a great base from where to explore Amazonas, and doubly more so for us non-Spanish speakers. If coming to Amazonas, I would book them first and then plan the rest of trip in location. The hostess and her son were very friendly and spoke excellent English - and were always available to help out planning my activities. Through the Guest House, I got a customized and authentic two-day trip to the rainforest with an interpreter with me, and with a very good price. I also really loved the food the Guest House offered. Ate breakfast every morning and a customized supper. Location was nicely next to the Santander park and easily within the walking distance from the port. When I left, I walked to the airport which was a nice 15-minute trek. I initially only stayed 1 night, but ended up coming back for the rest of the trip.
