Warm welcome. The staff is very helpful and answers your questions with open arms. They gave me the Kaprun tourist card and helped us.. The bathroom amenities are excellent. The location is beautiful.
Hotel Pension Hubertus enjoys a quiet location next to the CityXpress cable car, a 3-minute walk from the centre. It offers alpine-style rooms and a charming garden.

We liked the welcome, the hosts are charming, schnapps on arrival is a winner, (maybe we were special:))))
the location, and the honesty bar. We like hotels where the locals choose to stay. This is a family run hotel and after staying in a 4 star hotel in Vienna and a 3 star in Salzburg in the same week, we vote the Pension Hubertus as our favourite base. For English travellers it’s the number 10 bus from Salzburg airport to Zell am see and a 1.5hr train ride, easy.
Located in the centre of Kaprun, 1 km from the Maiskogel Ski Lift, Eschenhof Bed & Breakfast offers free use of its sauna and infrared cabin, free WiFi, and a garden with a terrace.

It was nicely done and mostly all up to date - the rooms were spotlessly clean and beds and linen comfortable - plentiful free parking at the front door and staff certainly available but leave you to it in a nice way of not needed. The breakfast was lovely and just perfect amount - chilling the juices would be our only suggestion - the the coffee was excellent which is not a given in Austria. The honesty bar was a lovely addition for the evenings - thank you very much to the owners and the staff - we would love to come back some day - best wishes with the business ! The hotel having the Zell / Kaprun Card is AMAZING by the way - this is a big plus booking a hotel that has it - free into the Lido beaches at Zell - free up the cable cars to the Top Of Salzburg and Krimmel falls -think we saved about 160 euro overall 🤩

Jausenstation Pfefferbauer is a place to fall in love with:
The view of the Zeller sea is magical.
The staff is very friendly.
The rooms, maybe basic for some guests, are clean and with a balcony to enjoy the view.
There is also a very good restaurant downstairs open in the evenings (just remember it is not open every day).
You have also a free place to park your car.
The breakfast. although a bit basic, was very tasty and plentiful.
You get a "Zell am See-Kaprun Summer Card" which allows you to enjoy a lot of things for free or with a discount (cable cars, boar trips, buses etc.).
Located 1,150 metres above sea level at the edge of a forest, the Hochleiten-Gut in Niedernsill offers a shared breakfast and recreation room with a tiled stove and a TV.

The owner was very kind and hospitable, contributing to a pleasant stay. The house was simple but beautiful and decorated in a traditional style. Breakfast was rich with various types of salami and cheese, cereals, homemade jams and fresh coffee and tea.

Our place was an annex building and it was a great apartment. The interior was thoughtfully designed and had a lot of storage space. Our terrace was very nice as we spent time relaxing in the sun enjoying the beautiful mountain air.
Our host was extremely sweet and tried to help us in any way she could.

What an amazing boutique hotel in Sankt Martin bei Lofer. Everything was perfect in this idyllic village hotel. Our hostess was extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was superb, with timber walls and ceiling beams, which gave off that wonderful smell that you only find with natural wood. We had our own balcony, and the views were beyond beautiful. Breakfast was also very nice, and the discussions with the hostess regarding the tourism option in the area were most welcome. This is a wonderful hotel, with the best of everything. Just wished we could have stayed longer.
Schmittental Pension Self-Check-In is located in Zell am See, 100 metres from the ski slopes, a ski storage room and a garden. Free WiFi is available in the rooms.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
I had a wonderful stay at Pension Michael. The host Antonia and her mother are the best! They are very helpful and make you feel at home. The hotel is modernised and built in the beautiful tyrolean style. It is located right in the center of Saalbach.
I warmly recommend Pension Michael.
Excellent pension with traditional furnishings and historical details. Nice rooms and a super comfy lounge area. Very friendly, chilled and helpful staff. Good breakfasts. Flexible with early check in and late check out. Great location a few minutes walk from Saalbach.
Great location-5min from lift. Very kind and kid friendly staff. Great breakfast. Joker card included. We are coming back every year, we love this pension.
Great location! quiet place on a small hill, 5 minutes of a walking distance to the city center and lifts. Super clean and well equipped apartment, very helpful host. There is a ski/bike storage place. Enough parking space for all the guests. Great view from the window! Together with the accomodation you get Joker Card, which gives many options for spending a nice time on biking, hiking, etc.
The chalet is very comfortable (better than 5 stars) in very quiet area and great location which makes it the best choice for family holidays . Just a cross the road on the river side there are many activities which families can enjoy for free.
The weather was very cool with rain showers different than other areas...Good place to escape the heat...
But the best thing about this place was the gentle and kind host who was very cooperative in all aspects.
Believe me it was such unforgettable experience...
Great location, about 10-15 walk to 3 major ski lifts and to the Saalbach city center with many restaurants. Supermarket is close by.
Apartment is beautifully renovated. There is a small balcony to sit outside.
Apartment complex is quiet.
Hermann met with us to deliver the key, he is a very kind host.
Great location. Easy to get to Saalbach, hinterglemm, Zell am see and Kitzsteinhorn for skiing. The hosts are really nice, helpful, friendly and accommodating. The beds are comfortable. The view from the balcony is amazing as the house is up on the hill and you can see a slope and a ski lift. The best part is that it’s cheap so it’s great value for money.
