It was a very peaceful place and the host was very friendly. The dinners were delicious - however, it’s good to know that from Monday to Tuesday there is no dinner available. The area is very beautiful, the closest grocery store and restaurant is in Prutz, about 6-7 minutes bus ride away. Busses go pretty well once in an hour but there are some two hours gaps.
We visited the place without our own car and enjoyed our time by wandering and walking and renting e-bikes a few days. :)

The location is excellent, close to Langenfeld and Aqua dome (10-15 min walk). With summer card (guest card) the buses and cable cars are free in the entire Otztal valley, discount to Aqua Dome. Tourist information provides maps for hiking and biking. Many restaurants, 2 grocery stores. Excellent breakfast in a really authentic ambience. Must have :)
N.B. The small double room is very clean, but doesn't have a balcony, nor terrace, nor fridge.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Simone is a great host and always helpful. The apartment is comfortable and nicely furnished, the house and its equipment are modern and have everything you need. The house was occupied by families and yet very quiet.
Apartment is spacious and have everything you need. If you still need something extra, you can ask hosts who live in the house and are really helpfull. There is garage to store skis and dry your shoes. Area is really quiet, far enough from main road. Wifi connection is good. I highly recommend :)
Hello. I've been to Kaunertal 2 times. This time in "Haus Kaunergrat". Great guesthouse and the world's best service and owner. She helped us at any time, because our car broke down in Germany and we arrived with problems. Pension clean well maintained, cleaned daily. It's a very classic, clean Tirolian style house with wonderful host (Dutch - who speaks perfect English BTW). The room was small but cosy and quite nice and quiet. The Sauna is fine as the breakfast which is simple but just enough. Big plus for the coffee and for understanding our need to have breakfast 15 minutes earlier. The ski room is also OK. The possession is OK, but it's a 10 - 15 minutes walk from the shop and town. 7 minutes to very nice Pizzeria.
Regina and Edi are very great owners. Upon arrival, the lady of the house helped us with things from the car (she didn't have to). The accommodation is in a beautiful location in the heart of the mountains, a 3-minute walk from the nice Quellalpin wellness center. By car for skiing 25 minutes (Kaunertal Gletscher and Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis). Clean everywhere, nice accommodation, quiet and comfortable beds. On my birthday, I received a nice surprise from the hosts in the form of wine and a small sweet.

I appreciate a lot that dogs are allowed. Breakfast was good, exactly what you need before starting the day in the mountains. The host was nice, we arrived late after a long ride and it wasn’t a problem to check-in. The pension is well located, a restaurant with swimming pool and sauna nearby, also close to the market.
