Very pleasant accommodation. Excellent breakfast personally prepared by the owner. The apartment is always clean and nicely prepared for your stay. Even given the minor language barrier, the owner Marieluise and I had a nice chat quite often 😀. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Gartner for a pleasant stay! The hosts were really great! Our whole family (10 people) were able to stay in three apartments in a common area where we had privacy and the opportunity to sit together in the garden. They provided us with breakfast, plus Mrs. Gangl baked us apple strudel for snack. Great communication, I can only recommend. Illmitz is a paradise for cyclists and ornithologists.
I liked the quiet village, with gardens, nice small restaurants, clean and beautiful houses. The lake and the bike routes are the most important atractions. The family was kind and helpful .

We loved the friendliness and community feeling with the hosts and other guests. It was such a nice atmosphere to stay in. The guesthouse is a short walk from the village. The accomodation was spotless and well maintained. Our family room was spacious with plenty of storage. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our hosts Mary Lou and Gerhard were helpful and friendly. The wine tasting with Gerhard was a lovely experience. We will definitely return to this accomodation in the future.
