Gerti is a lovely host and the B&B is really clean and comfortable. Waking up is a totally different experience than at home with such an amazing 360 view of the surroundings. It was just a short pitstop for us, but we had a blast. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.
Just 500 metres from the centre of Holzgau and the closest ski lift, Pension Alpenperle offers a sauna and free WiFi. Each apartment and studio has a balcony overlooking the Lechtal Alps.

Our room was fabulous - not only was it very large but the walls were also lined with wood and the room smelled heavenly (like a wood shop). The owners were wonderful - even allowed us to go to breakfast early as we had to leave early. The location is beautiful.
Right next to the ski slopes, Haus Alpina is 100 metres from the centre of Berwang. All rooms and apartments have a balcony overlooking the Zugspitze Mountain.

They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Nostalgic hotel at a beautiful location. Hotel can use some renovation, it is outdated but clean. Friendly host, but can’t help with information about hiking in the area. Be aware that if you book half pension you can only dinner between 18h and 19h.
