Gnishik is literally right at the end of the road, you can go no further, but the Eco Lodge certainly makes the journey worthwhile. The gent who let us in and gave us the keys was very pleasant and helpful and communication before arrival was excellent. It was made clear that the location was remote and that we would have to bring our food and drink with us. This was fine and the shared kitchen was very well equipped. We had a lovely en suite room upstairs with wonderful views from our balcony, especially of the beautiful rose garden in the back garden. We were also lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. There was a problem with the WiFi in the early evening, but it was quickly resolved and worked very well for us after that; not good enough to stream, but perfectly well for browsing, emails, etc. We parked in the drive in front of the Lodge, but there are zero security concerns. If you get the chance to visit, then we strongly suggest that you do. The drive south from Lake Sevan is truly spectacular. The last few kilometres of road were pot holed and slow going, but perfectly accessible if you drive slowly. Overall, this is a wonderful place to enjoy nature and relax and we loved our visit. Very highly recommended.

This place is simply amazing and no words to describe the beauty of the location, but also the hospitality of Marine and her family. The food was exceptional and Marine gave us a real taste of Armenian flavours. The house is spacious and comfortable with modern furnitures. It's a gem right at the beginning of a beautiful trail in the mountains. Highly recommended!

My family and friends had a wonderful experience at the Noravank B&B guesthouse. The warm and welcoming communication from the staff truly stood out, and the meals were exceptional. We also enjoyed the lovely fruit orchard on the property. I highly recommend this place and look forward to staying here again in the future!

We were welcomed by Sahak and Jasmine, the best example we found of Armenian hospitality.
They don't speak English (they know Armenian and Russian), but Sahak is an expert using Google Translator, and we understood each other fine.
Sahak has been extremely helpful advising places to visit, booking taxis and making sure we had everything we needed.
Jasmine is a wonderful chef: you must try her breakfast!! We liked it so much we asked for a recipe. She also let us use her washing machine: this was greatly appreciated!
The room is exactly as shown on the photos. We had our own private access at ground floor (the hosts live on the first floor). The door opens to a small hallway: the bedroom is on the left, private bathroom on the right (all 3 areas of our exclusive use).
The room has air conditioning, although we used it only for 15 minutes: the room stays cool, although it was 35 degrees outside.
The beds were comfortable and we slept very well.
It's very easy to move around: a taxi in town costs 500 AMD (roughly 1.25 € in August 2024). 1,000 AMD to the restaurants around Yeghegnadzor.

I traveled alone but the size of the room was enough for two people.
Brand new room, bathroom and extra large kitchen if you want to cook your self. But there is no need since the owner Arpine is a great cook.
You have fresh produce for breakfast and you can ask for lunch or dinner to be cooked for you.
You can pickup your own herbs and fruit from their extra large garden.
Offering mountain views, White House in Yeghegnadzor offers accommodation, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a bar, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge.
