This recently renovated apartment hotel rests in the picturesque village of Epen, surrounded by the gentle slopes and rich woodland of the surrounding countryside. Very friendly owners. Nice apartment for two in a nice village called Epen. In the middle of the Diutch mountains.

Golf-Resort Brunssummerheide offers rooms and apartments with a balcony in a tranquil setting overlooking the golf course. It features a restaurant and spacious terrace with a barbecue area. All OK. Staff personnel very helpful.

Hotel De Maasparel Arcen is a 4-star hotel in centre of the historical town Arcen. There is a restaurant with 2 outside terraces. Venlo is 10 km away. We were two couples, upstairs in modern rooms (22 and 23). Rooms were very attractive and thank goodness for airco, as it was toasty. Only drawback was the lovely beams were head level in some cases, so tall people beware. The outside space out back was particularly lovely and location in town and steps away from the water (which you can't see from older side) was perfect. We had dinner there too and it was really good and, just as important, the staff was extremely friendly. Great breakfast too!

This 14th century castle estate is an icon of luxury; the setting, rooms and facilities allow you to enjoy the charms of the past with all the comforts of the present! What is not to like about this place. It’s fabulous. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff, amazing food and a wonderful location.
