The location is amazing as it looks over the mountains and the town below which is made even more beautiful by its green nature. The hotel shuttle was a blessing as the more than friendly owner of the hotel and his amazing staff would drop us off and pick us up whenever we called for them as everything is always less than 10 minutes away by car. We have never been to a hotel as clean as this one, I was surprised to find that our room was cleaned 2-3 times a day . The Thai restaurant had excellent quality food and was truly authentic ! The owner and staffs’ friendliness and helpfulness truly made it feel like home and we were sad to leave at the end of our stay.

The rooms provide a relaxing atmosphere with wood-panelled walls and come with a balcony. First time in Engelberg and what a lovely find of a hotel. Very friendly staff both in reception and in the restaurant. Excellent buffet breakfast . Had dinner in the restaurant on one of the evenings and it was good and the service was excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

All rooms are bright and spacious and have wooden furniture. They are equipped with a TV, safe and private bathroom with bathtub or shower and a hairdryer. Some rooms have a balcony overlooking the Engelberg Mountains. The staff were absolutely the best; accommodating in every way. Fantastic breakfast with eggs made to order and accompanied with everything imaginable. Ski bus was a two minute walk. Wonderful restaurants at the doorstep.
