Joe is a charming, interesting and knowledgeable host. He and Christopher create a warm and inviting refuge for the traveller in this magnificent example of early 1900’s architecture. Their home has fascinating art pieces, a delightful reading nook, and a relaxing lounge room. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed. Ours was called the Dragonfly. It provided modern amenity in a classic style. The bed was sumptuous (sorry, forgot to take a photo). A coffee machine and spa bath were provided. Breakfast is “an occasion” -beautifully set table for the guests to share conversation while eating a well proportioned and delicious meal carefully prepared by Christopher. This was the final night of our travels and I could not imagine a more apt place to enjoy our last taste of Maritime Hospitality. Treat yourself!!

I was warmed welcomed even that I arrived very early in the morning. Owners was very enthusiastic about giving me the best experience at their great place. And it really felt like being at home, away from home.

The staff was very friendly and helpful especially Jennifer the one who checked us in and Josephine who was the breakfast attendant the whole facility us very nice breakfast was wonderful 😊 the pool was a perfect temperature the water slide was fun even enjoyed a little time in the hot tub 10 out of 10

the place was clean and the room size was generous. the place is primarily tailored/suited for golfers. As I am not a golfer, I can't comment on the golf course or other amenities associated to it.
Mildly surprised when we arrived. Very modern and clean. Great beds and jacuzzi in bathroom which we took advantage of after being on the road. (plus soft fluffy robes). Beautiful golf course but weather wasn't great.
Great view but not much to do if not a golfer
pretty good location. Waterfront park is on the other side of the river, a couple of minutes to drive. There is a golf course nearby. And Dartmouth Cove and Fisherman's Cove are close and good places to visit. Because of Covid-19, there is no room clean-up during our stay, but it's understanding.
What a beautiful family and area of NS. Located near the sites I wanted to see but also felt like a local. Trudy put some of her wine in the fridge which was a treat. Enjoy my conversations with Dan and Trudy - wonderful people in addition to their extended family who came around during my stay. I was invited to share wine with them and hang out on their deck, go into the pool if I wanted and hit golf balls which I enjoyed. They will ensure you are happy and treat you like a friend.
View was great. Hosts were very helpful with lots of local knowledge, especially if you are a golfer.
Kitchenette was awesome Room was spacious Staff were friendly and excellent Location was perfect for digby. Shopping and dining walking distance. Plenty of parking. Golf course less than 5 min away.
