Fancy being able to walk straight from your hotel room onto a beautiful golf course? This is exactly what you’ll get by staying at a golf hotel, which often features luxury facilities like a gourmet restaurant, a health spa and high-end shops. Golf hotels are often set in dramatic locations, so you can enjoy lots of different outdoor activities.
This place was perfect for our stay in Milan, a modern place with everything we needed. Easy to find if you watch the video they send beforehand. Very short walk to the Navigli canals and only just a bit further to the metro station which we got on every day. Communication with owner was good and would recommend to anyone. Definitely visit the restaurant just down the road (La Magolfa), we ordered 2 delicious pasta dishes and a calzone, 2 desserts and 2 large alcoholic drinks - £35!
The location was in the surroundings of the Navigli, a residential place that is very quiet, but still has a lot a shops, bars and restaurants and a very active social life nearby. I recommend going to Pizzeria La Magolfa, which is just a block away from the apartment.
After seeing the sorroundings, that are not promising, nice surprise, hotel is good, clean, comfortable and spacious rooms and great staff, all ia helpful.
I recommend Magolfa restaurant to have an Italian but cost effective meal, just 2 minutes far away by food.
Clean modern rooms on top floor of a 19th century apartment block. Lots of hooks for clothes etc. Tea, coffee and biscuits in room. Good aircon. Only 5 minutes walk from Milano Centrale rail station - very convenient if you have an early train to catch. It's also opposite the bus terminus for Malpensa airport. Sicilian restaurant Il Golfo Di Mondello is a couple of blocks north and west, very good and inexpensive, away from ststion area.
Very clean, 24h reception desk, big room, a lot of trams and buses nearby and very good restaurant La Mongolfiera.
