Les Ormes Resort, hotel in St Brelade

Boasting an enviable location 2 km from the beach, Les Ormes Leisure Village offers 5-star, luxury lodges and apartments with free parking, free Wi-Fi, and access to many outdoor activities, such as...

The apartment was immaculately clean and well fitted out, also quiet and peaceful with a very comfortable bed and ours was located almost next door to the bar/restaurant. The beach at St Brelades bay we thought was the best we visited and it is within easy reach of Les Ormes by car. We walked there and back, one night to a beachfront restaurant (Crab Shack, excellent!)but I must say It's not a walk for everyone, most of it is flat but it is very steep on the approach to and from the bay and you need to be aware of the location of the footpath, in some places it's whereabouts is not obvious but you can do the whole walk without walking on the road.

This is a small luxury hotel on the south west corner of the island. We found it to be all that it claims to be with two swimming pools, a gym area, and a beautifully decorated interior throughout. Our room was at the back of the hotel overlooking the golf course where the sun shone in the morning and early afternoon. Everything in the room was to a very high standard indeed and the maids were very attentive to any extra needs we had.

Beautiful setting, lovely indoor and outdoor pool. Staff were very friendly and the environment very relaxing. Food was delicious. Breakfast - good choice of hot and cold. The triple cooked truffle and Parmesan chips are to die for!!! We saw red squirrels from our golf course facing room which was wonderful.

The attention to detail and friendliness of the staff couldn't be faulted in any way. (Nothing was too much trouble). The food was quite superb. The hotel is quiet and beautifully situated. The pool and sports centre were more than adequate... unless, perhaps, you are a gym fan. It's next to a golf club, if that's for you, and close to a beautiful beach.
