This is exactly what you’ll get by staying at a golf hotel, which often features luxury facilities like a gourmet restaurant, a health spa and high-end shops. Golf hotels are often set in dramatic locations, so you can enjoy lots of different outdoor activities.
Receptionist was very pleasant and helpful and checking in was quick and easy. Although parking was fully booked we were given disk parking for the road outside. The room was spacious and clean, large accessible bathroom. Tea & coffee facilities. Room was warm and bed comfortable. Was a last minute booking to save time for a golf trip
An excellent place to stay for four of us playing golf in the area. It had everything we needed for a short stay of two nights, with four beds in three bedrooms, a well-equipped galley-style kitchen and comfortable living area and dining area with a large TV. It is ideally situated for a pubs and restaurants, and only a five minute stroll to the front. Communication with the hosts was excellent both before and during the day - helpful without being intrusive.
We chose Cober Hill because it was dog friendly
and everything about this place was amazing, the staff, the accommodation, the views, the grounds, were all amazing. David the guy on night duty who served us with our drinks was very knowledgeable and informative, lovely guy. Things to do, golf, croquet, 2 children's play areas, beautiful walks, so much. Can't wait to return for a longer stay.
The caravan was great. Excellent kitchen and bathroom. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of space for us all (7 stayed in total). We were able to park quite close tot the caravan and there were lots of activities on site such as play park, crazy golf, trampolines, highwire, swimming pool, children's entertainmant, restaurants, etc
The location was perfect for us as we were playing golf at Scarborough South Cliff and Ganton. Helpful owner provided sufficient parking passes and never had any problems finding a convenient space.
The location is close to Scarborough South Cliff Golf club which was our initial reason for booking .
we received a friendly welcome upon arrival, we had a very clean and comfortable room, fantastic decor and the breakfast is highly recommended.
Pre-arrival checks by hotel to ensure all our needs could be met, friendly reception, convenient parking space at hotel with 2 other car parks close by for family visitors, very good breakfast choices, large comfortable bed with good en-suite modern bathroom. A quiet, attractive, and convenient location for good restaurants, buses, & town centre, a short 10 min walk to south beach, 15 to 20 min to harbour and north beach, and with two good18 hole golf courses within 10 mins drive.
