The location of the Doune Guest House was perfect. We are not golfers but it was perfect for St Andrews golf club. It was also well situated for the main town and shops and restaurants were all within walking distance.
A perfect stay for golfer, close to everything I needed during my stay, pubs, restaurants, main streets, golf courses, academy. Perfect instructions for me even I arrived past midnight due my late night, easily got into the guesthouse and the room. Loved Full Scottish Breakfast :)
Everything, the staff were friendly and very helpful. The location of the hotel was very easy to find and access. The setting is unbelievable with the golf course right outside the building.
I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a peaceful break even if they don't play golf. We had a lovely walk around the course.
