Amazing hotel in the heart of Glasgow. expensive during the golf event, but very surprised how nice the hotel was. Loads to do in the hotel as well as the surrounding areas.
Not much really bar the Breakfast was fine. Room was very small. The road outside was being torn up and two buildings across the road bein renovated so noise level was high.
If we had known this before our visit we would have booked another property.
Also the cost of the stay was excessive due entirely of the golf in Troon being on. I would have said the price on the Mon after the golf would have been 50% less. A touch of "Price Gouging" in operation here.
Lovely spacious home for a group of friends heading to the golf in Troon. The hosts were very accommodating and the place was clean and well set up. Would return again.
The room we had was close to reception but was quiet. The hotel was generally a little bit tired but was good value for money for us going to the Open golf at Troon. Booking.com had confirmed we were a bed and breakfast rate however the hotel said we were room only.
The bedroom was clean and big enough with a good sized en-suite and shower along with lovely fluffy towels.
Overall the hotel provided us with everything we needed.
Really close to all that the central city has to offer. 10 min walk to train station to get to Troon for the Open Golf Championship. Very well equipped.
Nice hotel with good facilities and friendly helpful staff. Room was clean, beds were comfy and shower was lovely. Very happy with Ibis Budget Hotel for the price we paid for our 2 night stay while attending The Open Golf 2024 at Royal Troon. Glasgow Central train station and the centre of Glasgow itself is approximately a 20 minute walk away from this hotel and it's in a quiet location which we also liked. Would recommend this hotel to all potential visitors to Glasgow too.
Property has beautiful large windows in The lounge overlooking the golf course, good condition furnishings tho sofa could be better as the décor is very good and bathroom is lovely.
Property was in a good location little bit busy but apart from that everything is close by bowling, mini golf, cinema and many places for food including in the hotel they also have bowling in the hotel as well
Location is great, right in heart of town. Staff was super helpful, especially with shipping my golf clubs back home.
