We stayed at Pen-Rhos in “Cuckoo’s Nest for four nights in mid January. The scenery surrounding the ‘cabin’ was breathtaking and there was enough space between each cabin for privacy. The space was small, but perfect for two and had every appliance we needed for meals and hot drinks. The bathroom was clean and the shower heated quicker than ours at home. Llandrindod Wells had a few pubs and grocery stores that were close and convenient. Surrounding cities like Newtown, Rhayader, and Builth Wells were great for pub dinners.

A barbecue is available for guests to use at the camping. This pod was all and more than we could ask for, we decided to book last minute and it definitely was above our expectations. The pod was super clean, cosy and had all we could ask for. The location was perfect as it was away from city or houses, all surrounded by nature. We didn't have any internet connection which made our stay even better. Ann the owner was super special and very kind to fulfil our requests. Will definitely stay again!

This hut features a log burner, decking area, electricity and heaters. Bedding and towels are provided.

The single track lane to Yurt can be slippery when wet, therefore guests are advised to be cautious on wet/damp days. It was very lovely and quiet. Will definitely visit again in the future :)

The room was beautiful, plenty of space, complimented with a super comfortable bathroom and all you needed. Breakfast was not only delicious, the choice was excellent and it sets you up for the day. Catherine and Gareth are the perfect hosts. Would highly recommend.
