Home to spectacular gorges, wondrous swimming holes and abundant wildlife, the area also has a rich indigenous history and is the perfect place to learn about the Aboriginal ancient culture. Excellent meals; breakfast had a variety of options, fresh and tasty. Compliments to the chef! Our dinner was delicious and beautifully presented. We could have been eating in a five star restaurant!

Set in Katherine, Gorge View Bush Retreat: Katherine NT offers a pool with a view. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Outdoor seating allows guests to sit outside and enjoy the good weather. Just had a lovely relaxed feeling. Kate made us feel welcome on her arrival. The sunset deck and star gazing was fantastic, easy to walk too we didn't think it was necessary to take the car but can understand that walking back in the dark might not be everyone's cup of tea.

This spacious, open-plan permanent tent offers a queen bed. The Safari Tent includes a bar fridge and plenty of crockery and cutlery with an outdoor deck overlooking the park. These tents are located close to the amenities block, camp kitchen and other facilities. The park was so clean and peaceful and just next to the Katherine river. Amazing when you have a dog like us.
