Centrally located, this gorgeous hotel is a perfect base for exploring Lisbon. The staff were so welcoming, helpful & friendly. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated with a super comfy bed. I also loved the complimentary Nespresso machine & pods in the room.

The thing that stood out the most were the reception staff - they always said hello when you entered and were so helpful and welcoming, little things like that really make a stay! Really comfy beds with a curtain as well to make things feel more private. USB charging so no need for an adapter. Secure lockers with keycard that were big enough for a large cabin bag which was great! Showers were really nice for a hostel and bathrooms and dorms were really clean. Loved it here :)

This hotel is a gem. Beautiful entrance with helpful & courteous staff. The furnishings are of high quality & the rooms a good size. Comfy beds, shutters & blinds for good sleep & air conditioning. Breakfast was in an airy bright room with plenty of choice and courteous & helpful staff again.

Lovely, friendly staff, great welcome. Room was small, which was what we booked, but clean and fresh - comfy bed which was much appreciated after our long days out! Really impressed with the breakfast choice and plentiful coffee on tap. We were on the 6th floor, right by the lift, but really quiet each night. Air conditioning most welcome.

The location was good. A little bit out of the town. The room was bright and clean. The air conditioning was great. There was toiletries and a hairdryer. A safe in the room to use at a small cost per day. Comfy bed.

Very well located in the flattest part of the old city. Comfortable and spatious room. Closet with safe, hangers and bathrobes. Bar refrigerator with complimentary soda, water and juice. Coffee machine with pods. Accurate pictures on the booking site. Elevator a plus. Were able to leave luggage at lobby when checked out. Pretty decent breakfast buffet for 10 Euros each. Glass and mirror walls were spotless. 4 very large/thick pillows on the King-sized bed.

Two bathrooms, AC in every room, quite spacious living room and nicely joined kitchen. Top-notch washer dryer, and dishwasher. Fantastic bathrooms with rainfall shower. Big comfy beds. Modern design. AC easy to adjust, marble radiators heat up the house in no time (careful if you travel with kids, those one can get really warm). Lot's of wardrobe space. Coffee machine with coffee pods provided.

Staff are fantastic. Perfect location although everywhere involves a hill! Room very clean (3a) kitchen had everything we needed, a nice touch was the coffee machine and 4 free pods. Bed was super comfy and lovely sheets and pillows.

Everything perfect: big room, great mattress and pillows, the air conditioning, delicious breakfast, a very comfy and nice common area and a super equipped kitchen. Clean and new bathrooms, towels included. Cherry on top: Katia who welcomed me at the reception.

We liked basically everything about The 8. The bed was super comfy, everything was clean. The location was also very appropriate. You can hardly find a place more well placed than the 8 in Lisbon. It was also equipped with air conditioning that worked also as a heather so it was perfect for the evening.
