At first glance the hotel looks great but a closer inspection and you can see there is a lack of maintenance. Beds were comfy but the room was so damp. Had to have the AC on full blast to try and dry it out. Shower over flowed when used and the loo leaked. Staff were lovely though and very helpful.

We just stayed one night after our flight and it was perfect. We were able to order a cheap and tasty dinner late and enjoy it outside. The owner was super friendly and kind and the room was excellent value for money with a comfy bed and great wifi etc.

Immaculately clean, good AC in the rooms, very comfortable dorm beds: privacy with a little curtain, a socket and light, two comfy pillows. A nice chill-out area, and a very good restaurant out front with delicious meals at an affordable price, and excellent, professional and friendly staff. I also had the chance to speak with the manager, marketing manager and owner, who all welcomed me to have drinks with them, and were humble and friendly. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

The front desk staff were so welcoming and helpful. The room (we stayed in Ulu) was nice, the beds very comfy and the small living area was great. Being able to rent a bike was a great bonus to get around otherwise you're kinda stuck in the middle of nowhere. They have a pool table which is nice in the bar area, and the pool (we didn't use) is covered and looks clean. A great retreat if you just want to switch off. Breakfast included is a good idea, but stock was an issue on some items so was a little limited. Pancakes were good!

The family atmosphere was amazing. I was welcomed straight away. The hostel itself is about a steep 20 minute walk from one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Worth the hike. The dorm was clean with a comfy mattress. There was a hot water shower. In terms of food, I'm a vegetarian and I was served some of the best food I have had on my trip at B&R hostel. If you are looking for a quiet retreat in nature, close to gorgeous scenery this is the place for you.
