I stayed at Stupa View Inn for 13 nights while attending retreats at Tergar Osel Ling Monastery. This worked out really well. The location on a side street is quiet by Kathmandu standards. Receptionist Sajan is really helpful and always available. Wifi is excellent and filtered water is available. Room has a powerful fan. My room was nice and bright. View from the rooftop is amazing.

Traveled to Kathmandu for a one-week meditation retreat and staying at Nivas Hotel was a great decision! The location is good, the rooms were clean, but best of all, the service was extraordinary! Dev took care of everything even before arriving, from airport shuttle, tour recommendations, taxi/moto service, etc. The lovely staff at Nivas Hotel made my stay in Kathmandu unforgettable.

We stayed for a total of three nights at Rambler Hostel and are very grateful we chose to stay here! The staff are incredibly lovely, accommodating and communicative. The rooms are large with comfy beds, a warm shower, and a fan. The breakfast is modest and yummy. They also very kindly held onto our bags during our hike/journey through Nepal, AND helped with our laundry upon return! Highly recommend staying here. Five stars all round ⭐️ Thank you!

The perfect stop in Thamel! Great clean room, supersoft and comfy bed! All services needed were provided: roomservice, help with advice, a tourguide. The staff is amazing, they are super friendly and helpful with everything. A special thanks to the manager, Mr. Ram Hari Subedi, who helped this first timer out with everything, even took me shopping for clothes. And thanks to the coffeemaker mr. Sandeep. I will come back after my retreat

The hotel is very beautiful and the staff is very polite! The room was spacious with a view of the monastery. Large comfortable bed, air conditioning, water and fruits in the room. Breakfast was included, good choice from the menu, prepared quickly and delicious! I am very satisfied, I recommend! I also ordered a transfer from the airport, I was met on time, the car was air-conditioned, the driver drove carefully.)

Hotel with good location in north Thamel. A lot of shops and restaurants around, but in distance from street noise. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Room is big and clean, safe box in the closet. Bed is big and comfy, very big and handy shower cabin. Various, very good breakfast in the nice terrace. Good value for money.

Had an excellent stay at Norbulinka! The staff were the highlight - reception staff were amazingly helpful, recommending sightseeing spots and helping us organise a driver for three days (shoutout to Eeshma!). The rooms were comfy, air-conditioned, and pretty modern. Excellent location too, surrounded by great restaurants. Would absolutely go back if I was staying in Kathmandu again!
